DAN'S STUDIO
 Like many musician / voice people Dan has had his own recording studio for some time, and as you'd expect, it started small and grew. In the last six years however, the remit and scope of the studio has risen to a whole new level, with re-construction and a complete upgrade.
 The studio can now easily handle dubbing voice to picture, and straight voice recording for animation, documentaries, commercials and any broadcast material. It can also handle music composition and production including writing to picture.
The studio also has ISDN facilities that Dan uses for real time voice and music work around the world.
THE TECHNOLOGY
 For the technically minded among you, the guts of the studio consists of:
An 8 core Mac Pro computer running Logic 8.
A Neumann M149 Mic and an AKG 414 Mic going through a TL Audio Ivory series pre-amp.
Native Instruments Komplete 5.
An Apogee Ensemble sound card.
The ISDN set up consists of a CDQ Prima 120, 2khz stereo bi-directional codec.
Genelec and NS - 10 M speakers.
Favorite guitars, synths, outboard gear, Broadband etc, and a TC electronics finalizer that he's thinking of taking on the road.
The only things that Dan does not do in the studio is ensemble recording - for reasons of space and sanity.
